Great evening with Rajashekar Sundar and Vijayashree Rajashekar. Joined Sharmila Roy and myself at our Sunday haunt. We have known them for over 20 years. A lot of common points in life connects us together … Today’s topic de jure was my quirks – why I never watch movies, why I make friends with everybody and sundry… I do not think they quite figured out how to explain me – and honestly, that made four of us 🙂

Came to watch my daughters perform in Saraswati pujo. After their performance, I was getting bored – so I dragged Rupak Ganguly and Amitesh Mukherjee to the nearest bar for some wine. For whatever reason, the bar had a chess board. So I gave the 8 queen problem to them to solve (arrange eight queens on a chess board so no queen attacks any other). Now they are fully engrossed and I am back to getting bored again 🙂

Last evening with the Watercoolers. Very funny comedic group!! I had a great time!

One advantage of going to the same place late in the evening for every Sunday date night is that all the bar staff, manager, waiters/waitresses even the chef comes and spends time with you!! Kids perform in holiday party..

Can’t remember the last time that I stayed up till 2 am. Something terrible must have happened or it must have been one of the most enjoyable evenings. Fortunately, today was of the latter variety. And if anybody recognizes the people in the picture can probably also guess why… — with Atashi Mukherjee and 4 others.

Seeing Falcons play Monday Night Football at the Dome – cool! Seeing Matt Ryan and co. beat Peyton Manning and co. – awesome. Being there with the whole team from office – priceless!!

It was mostly talking and chatting. Far less swimming. With the Bhaduris from Knoxville..Adult time in the pool.
