Silver Comet Trail run

I had heard about this famous trail that was named after the famed Silver Comet train service. The trail itself is built on the railway track that was decommissioned about twenty five years back. Nice, shaded, flat, asphalt top surface for running.

Only in Portland would the airport authorities be prepared for the eventuality that somebody might pack their bike in the plane and would therefore need some space to reassemble their bike back before they ride home from the airport!!!

Twenty minutes to count down…

In about twenty minutes, all roads in Fulton county will be declared as parking lots as sleepy kids drag themselves out of their houses with their new shiny backpacks and water bottles… with their parents in tow desperately trying to get them to stop for a minute and put on a fake smile for that all important phone picture to be posted on Facebook entitled “First day in school” !!!

Bourbon, Benedictine and Angostura bitters. The taste of this drink can be dramatically changed by altering the ratios. This one has 2 oz of Bourbon, quarter oz of Benedictine and just one dash of the bitters.
