Normally when my Lyft or Uber driver shows up, I greet him or her by the first name. Other than being nice, this also reconfirms to me and him/her that I am in the right car.

Actually, I have a lot but I will get started with this. This trip, I noticed signs like this all over Manhattan. “Watch for falling snow and ice”, they say.

Here is what I would like to know … How?? How exactly do you watch for falling snow and ice? By looking up? And get smashed in the face by … you know… falling snow and ice? 🙂

On my way to New York (LGA) from Atlanta (ATL). Still not sure how we managed to jump from Atlanta to that point 33,000 feet above North Carolina border but it has been smooth sailing ever since 🙂

For the life of me, I cannot fathom what a serious sized trailer mounted barbecue grill is doing at the drive up counter in a bank in our vicinity.

I drove around to check it out – and get this – it was locked down to the post there! It was a bank holiday and there was nobody nearby to answer the obvious questions I had!!

Was there any need for that much specificity with the first three destinations when they would go “anywhere” anyways?

I think I can do that. Especially since there is not a single blade of grass to be seen anywhere nearby…
