Thanks to Lakshmi, had some great Tamizh food – uttapam with molagapodi and some deadly idlis!! The sambar was to die for. I did not realize this during my years in Chennai but apparently you garnish the sambar with finely diced onions (like you would do with a pav bhaji from Bombay). It tasted real good.

Of course, the Sivasubramaniams are always great company!

A couple of months back, I went to visit his parents in Chennai. This time he came to visit me at my house in Atlanta!
