5 miles after a long time

There is nothing quite like that post-run glow, especially when it’s your first 5-miler after a long break! Getting back into the rhythm can be mentally tougher than the physical act itself, so hitting 5 miles is a huge statement of intent for your 2026 fitness goals. Consistency is the hardest part of the journey, but runs like this prove that the ‘muscle memory’ and the drive are still very much there. Enjoy the recovery—you’ve definitely earned it.
