Spanish for ice-cream?
Went for a walk in Santiago in one of the most beautiful rose gardens. After that, to prove which country they come from, the three girls made a beeline for the big mall. To remove any remaining doubts, they bought three humongous ice creams! The Spanish exchange with the lady at the front was hilarious. I don’t think that was the size of ice cream they meant to order 🙂 — with Sharmila Roy at Hotel Santiago Marriott.

Durga Pujo 2011 Dance
Every year, Natasha and Nikita perform (dance) during our biggest festival – Durga Pujo. This time was no exception. Although, perhaps, this is the last year for Natasha. She did two dances this time and Nikita did one. Their choreographer was Mayuri Ray, who, as always, did an outstanding job.
Natasha’s first dance – “Tere Nana Megh”
Nikita’s dance – “Amar Gaaney”
Natasha’s second dance
15th Woodstock Freedom Run
On July 4th, 2011, I ran the Woodstock Freedom Run. This was my first disciplined attempt after switching over to the minimalist run. I was not sure what to expect. Last time I ran in this race, the route was not full 3.1 miles – it was more like 2.9 mile. This time, the corrected it to cover full 3.1 miles.
Posted one of my fastest run at 7:45 pace (24 min 09 sec).
There were great festivities going on there. The mayor came and started us off from the top of the fire engine ladder which had extended from the road to the top of the main street intersection!!

India trip 2011
This video is about the trip we made to India in the summer of 2011. We had a special trip to a resort in Raichak this time. It was four families – my brother’s, sister’s and Sharmila’s brother’s. Six kids and eight adults. First time, all the kids and the siblings were together under a roof in a really really long time. The following videos capture some of the magical moments we had.
“Jhna Chak Chak”
“Raichak Cricket”
“Raichak Boat Rides”
“When Adults Became Kids”
“Raichak Kids Talent”
“Raichak Swimming”
