Rode solo to Talking Rock. Stopped at the train-coach-turned-brewery for a beer and some quiet contemplation…

Just went around the city for about 40 miles and then settled down at a coffee shop to do some reading.

The original idea was to go for a long ride in the mountains. Then the heavy rains came in. Fortunately, the sun came out late in the afternoon. Was able to salvage a small ride at least.

Ran into good old “KC” in a motorbike bar. We have known her from three bars back!! And then saw one of the prettiest Honda motorbikes ever – the latest Goldwing. If I had more space in my garage, I am sure I was going to get one of them.

The left leg is not fully recovered. I can walk but any time the leg is stretched, it gives a stern warning. Took the bike out to see if the leg can deal with it. The riding is not the problem. It is how I land my left leg when I come to a stop is what I had to be careful about. Coming down a staircase is a bit of a hassle but the motorbiking went fine.
