The whiplash from my United Airlines flight time changes!!
But I do not blame them a bit. In order to avert Russian air space, they are taking a circuitous route. And depending on headwinds, sometimes they are tripping up the limit for crew hours and fuel needs. We had to stop at Bangor, ME today to switch crew and refuel – just an hour away from our final destination!
Had a similar experience last Thursday flying on the same United flight but was fortunate that it did not have to stop anywhere before landing at Newark but it was delayed enough that I missed my connection.
I not only missed my connection but the one I finally got had mechanical and had to be canceled!!
