An unexpected route from Fiji to Adelaide

Time for me to head out to Adelaide…

Last time we sat in the lounge in Nadi airport, I did not get a chance to try out the food. I was too full. Today, I explored a little. Was reminded of the Indian heritage and influence in Fiji once again when I saw these savories in the shelf. They even have very similar names … “nimkin, peda, murku…”

Tasted equally great!

Arrived very early in the morning at Nadi (pronounced “Nandi”) in Fiji. Sharmila and I flew in a couple of times here earlier this year.

Came out of San Francisco airport and made a beeline to meet my friend of over four decades – Aditi and her husband Eric. We went to the second oldest bar of San Francisco – Elixir Saloon established way back in 1858 – to try out some unique cocktails over some equally invigorating conversations.

Multiple places to go. But will try to hit another island country.
