Every Sunday night has been go out for a drink night withSharmila Roy. Be it India, Costa Rica, Florida, Hilton Head in the last year, it has always been the same. In the last five months, it also meant watching NFL game at our favorite bar. Now we are watching the last game of the season on Sunday night at our watering hole. After this, it will be a seven month wait 🙁 — with Sharmila Roy at Milton’s Cuisine & Cocktails.

We have all the lucky charm we need today! Errrr….. And that would be me 🙂

The night… The fire… and the Firecracker…

Thursday evening? Check! At the airport? Check. Here is the weird part. I am not flying. My daughter is. All those planes pulling away without me there… I feel deprived… like somebody took candy away from me. On second thoughts, it’s okay – I had too many of them last night anyways 🙂

Tasha is at a math competition. Sharmila and Niki are painting in the garage. Since I am good at neither math nor art, I just make expert comments 🙂 Kinda like the NFL replacement refs 🙂

Couple of hours of Bengali songs was interrupted by Nikita who walked into the music room wanting to try some Indian instrument. I showed her how to play the tabla, harmonium, an Indian flute and even the Cajones (admittedly not Indian but Cuban). She immediately settled for the harmonium. When I asked her how she chose what to try, she said that looked closest to a piano 🙂
