Met Anand, Vivek and Lakshmi at our neighborhood Curry Me Up! They were there for dinner. I walked up to meet them for a short while. Learnt a lot of interesting things about brain studies from Vivek!

One quick phone call and Kushal and Madhumita jumped on a flight from Dallas to spend the weekend with us. Here we are, bundled under a wall heater at Up On The Roof in downtown Atlanta!

Which is an irony, since we live in the same city and have a lot of common interests!

I have not been able to stump Danny with even one geography question yet!

At Central City Tavern in downtown Alpharetta. I knew Sharmila was meeting Mrinal-da and Seemita-di. When I walked up an hour later, seemed like Dipanjan and Parijat had joined in too! More, the merrier!!

Apparently, all my disgust after licking a bar of soap as a young toddler was misplaced. Sharmila and Parijat ordered a drink and after the drink was prepared, the bartender put a bubble on it!! Using a bubble maker and something called “edible soap”!!

Hmmm… seems like I need to try this at home!

(In case you were wondering, by the time I could take the picture, Sharmila’s bubble had burst. Literally speaking.)
