Last week, my friend Roger Whitney said something that made a big impression on me. He said, “you make your wealth by working. You invest to protect the wealth.” Implication being if you are trying to be rich from your investments, better make that your full time job!! — withRoger Whitney at Key Bridge Marriott.

As always, the family overwhelmingly voted to spend the year end with our old friends and family from Dallas. Well, we do not have any family there but the friends are as close as family. We absolutely had a blast. Here are some of the memories captures in pictures.

Usually, when we mention to friends in Atlanta that we went to Dallas to vacation in summer, the usual response is “But, why?” 🙂 True, it is hot and humid in Texas and really not that many places to go to. But after living in Dallas for 15 years, all our friends who became family in this country for us live there. We went to visit them.
