And when I say early morning, I mean really early. It was dark when we started!!

The temperatures are starting to come down. Put in a 10K with Andrew and Samaresh. There was one guy who was running in the trail with a big flag in his hand (remembrance of Sep 11).

Ran with Samaresh and Andrew Percher this morning. Andrew kept pacing us harder. I was able to keep up for 2.5 miles (and even then he was taking it easy on me) – after that, I had to slow down. 4 miles run with the first mile and last mile coming at 10 min/mile. The second mile was at 9:30 min/mile and the third one at 9:20 min/mile.

4 miles of continuous hills – either going up with the lungs and heart screaming or going down with both the knees screaming!!

This morning, I went to check out the new skateboarding rink. Good news – there were no kids there to laugh at me 🙂 On my way back, I went to the Starbucks that the old Sunday morning Bengali running group usually hangs out after the run.

I have not run with this group in probably over a couple of years. Even the coffee visits have become fairly rare. It was good to catch up with the old and new runners…

Tried another set of hills in Milton today. Took it easy and slow for the 5K today. Most of the run was on concrete sidewalk. Couple of niggles in the right foot (very old injury) but not very bothersome.

The best part was enjoying the early morning while huffing and puffing up and down the hills. Clocked at 10:30 min/mile.
The worst part was remembering that I used to do these hills at 8:30 min/mile a few years back 🙂 🙂

Went back to the old Starbucks that I used to run from and then enjoy a coffee. 4-5 days a week – for over 5 years. I can feel the body aging already. The stamina is on the decline. Worse, the drive is waning…
