Different kind of Friday evening music – part 1
This was in Featheredge Winery. The wine this time was not bad at all. I remember last time I had gone there the only thing I had liked was the cheese that had wasabi in it. It was a cool day outside and Sharmila and I enjoyed the local singer. Of course, I absolutely know nothing of any Western music – but I liked the way the guy was playing the guitar. Nice, evening to ramp down from the hectic week.

Alpharetta downtown and Jay Jay
Went out late to Alpharetta downtown. JayJay was virtually begging to take him. Which he did. He sat there the whole time and made absolutely no noise. Totally ignored the other dogs that barked at him and wanted to make friends with him. All he did was kept looking at people and tried to hear intently why they were saying!!

Minnehaha Falls
This is less of a giant waterfall and more of a series of cascades. It is like nature created a lot of consecutive steps – each about 3-4 feet high – and then let water fall over it. Looks beautiful.
We drove for about 2 hours thru some beautiful parts of rural Georgia and quite some dirt roads to reach the spot. The parking was a bit of a problem but we made it.
I understand Minnehaha means a waterfall in Dakota (a language spoken by the Sioux tribe).
