My friend Akshay was recently in India. And he got me some coffee beans from there. In fact multiple packets. They are from different estates in southern India (south of Mysore in Karnataka). Note how my friend got the package personalized for me!!

Trying out some coffee from Africa for the first time in this coffee maker. The coffee is a lot more intense. I understand this has something to do with Ethiopian coffee being grown in higher altitudes.

Finally got a bag of coffee beans from the largest coffee producing country in the world.

These are a fairly dark variety.

My best attempt at waking her up. With something that looks like a ghost in her coffee. (She is morbidly afraid of ghosts).

Can’t say I have ever tried coffee from Congo. It is not easily available in the USA. In general, Congo ranks 29th in the list of coffee exporters. Even neighboring Gabon with one tenth the size handily beats Congo.
