Finally, some unwinding time
They are back!!!
Remember I had talked about that group of Indian folks that came and started singing devotional songs in The Green in Downtown Alpharetta one day? They showed up today again!!
First all the kids stopped playing and stood around curiously watching what was going on. Then the adults came in and started dancing!!!

What seems like a huge fire inside …
This was unreal
I was sitting out on the balcony early in the morning with my cup of tea. Everything was going on as you would have expected. The sky was getting brighter, the school buses came by, cars started plying and then boom!.. something very strange happened. There was a glow of orange all around. The sky became overcast and turned more and more orange by the minute. The picture here does not do justice to how it felt. It was like the whole world was lit by a huge orange halogen lamp.
And then just as suddenly, the thunderstorms rolled in. The sky got dark quickly and your run of the mill mid summer Atlanta heavy rainfall with rolling thunders ensued!

No trip to Toronto is complete

Had to go back to that building
Over a quarter century back, I used to come to this building for work. Made some life long relationships here with folks like Subhasis Ojha, Kang Lu, Jim Mackay, Dave Thompson, Bill Lenson, Mohammad Nejad-Sattary, Marty Flemington and many more that flash thru my mind. Driving on QEW, moment I saw the exit for Guelph Line, it all came back to me! I told Sharmila I was going to take the exit and take a few pictures.
There was a Holiday Inn next door that I used to stay in. It is still there but seems to have been thoroughly renovated. I even showed Sharmila the backdoor I used to take in the office building to cut short those bone chilling cold walks from the hotel to the office every winter!
