Couple of hours of Bengali songs was interrupted by Nikita who walked into the music room wanting to try some Indian instrument. I showed her how to play the tabla, harmonium, an Indian flute and even the Cajones (admittedly not Indian but Cuban). She immediately settled for the harmonium. When I asked her how she chose what to try, she said that looked closest to a piano 🙂

Family pool time. With very unconventional swimming gear!!!

4 years of engineering and it still took me 45 minutes to realize that the doggone capacitor is kaput. Good news – the more expensive motor is fine. All fixed. I am jumping back in the pool.

At Woodruff Arts for Nikita’s Indian dance performance. She made me really proud. I don’t help in this part of her life but I am so happy that Sharmila does the running around so Niki can still keep some connection with Indian culture. 
If you are around, I should be easy to spot. Of all the formally dressed people streaming in for the Symphony at 8, I am the one sitting in shorts and beach shirt with red wine 🙂 — at Alliance Theatre.
