5 mile run in 80 degrees in Fowler Park. The trail was crowded even at 1pm.

It was a bright day but cool (57 degrees)

Picture perfect blue sky. Power lines above head. And a beautiful cardinal on it. Surveying the beautiful nature around.

After quite some time. Now for some Starbucks!

If we survive this virus, I think the obesity problem will be behind us. I showed up at the trailhead at 1 pm in the hot sun to minimize the number of runners and walkers I was going to face. Guess what? Barely got a parking spot!!!

Started at 9:30 min/mile and kept speeding up every mile. Last mile was a 8:38 min/mile. And I now truly have a “last mile” problem. Stomach cramping up 🙁

Slightly faster pace 5 miles at 9:15 min/mile
Ran into Sanjib and Thomas in the trail which gave me the much needed breaks to keep up with the pace…
