Which meant the sunshine had to be taken advantage of. It was a bit cold – especially with the wind though. The layers and heated gloves came to the rescue!

A couple of days back, Matt, Sunjay, Hunt and myself were Slacking about Sunjay’s use of the punctuation mark “?!”. Which got me to read up on punctuation marks that are rarely used these days.

See how many of these you might now. First name the punctuation mark and see if you can guess when it is used.

The ninth one looks like slanted in my handwriting. I meant to draw a straight line. (You have it on your keyboard as “|” )

From the bartender’s corner – Harvard

Picked up another cocktail from the book Natasha had given. Harvard comprises of cognac, sweet vermouth, simple syrup, bitters and a splash of soda water.

In full candor, I am supposed to use a Nick and Nora glass. I do not have one. Used a glass with a rather unique base.

From the bartender’s corner – Income Tax

I probably should have waited for a month to make the name of the drink go with the times. Never quite figured out why this drink is called so. It is a fairly old concoction though – over a century old recipe.

Gin, Sweet Vermouth, Dry Vermouth, Orange juice and bitters.
