And now for some refreshing drink to go with the sweltering heat and barbecue… Watermelon Agave Julep. This has crushed watermelon, some dugar, mint leaves and Patron Silver Tequila.

This is the mother of all Spritzes. Made of Italian alcohols – Aperol from the Padova area and Prosecco – topped up with club soda, this can be a go to drink for anybody who likes non-sweet (this is faintly bitter) not-so-strong bubbly evening drink.

Muddled mango, triple sec, lume juice and mango infused vodka

Was reading up some cocktail books to decide what drink to make. Looking outside, the fast growing dark clouds and winds picking up force reminded me immediately of what might an appropriate drink. At least the name is appropriate!!

This is a variation of Moscow Mule and is made from dark rum and ginger beer.

Bourbon, elderflower liqueur and bitters…

Creme de Cassis, gin and ginger ale. Light, refreshing drink.

With the name of a famous warrior from the days of the Moors (eleventh century) in Spain, why this drink has gin instead of Tequila, I will never know. Anyways, this is a lighter cocktail (with much lesser amount of alcohol) comprising of dry gin, orange juice, Midori liqueur and lime juice.

This traditional – and a popular version – of martini has gin and vodka and white chocolate liqueur.

With a distinct East European name, I figured there must be an intriguing history behind the drink. So far, I have not come up with anything in the internet. Do any one of you know?

Vodka, Apricot flavored Brandy, lime juice and simple syrup.

This is a repeat drink from about three months back. I have changed up the garnish but the main contents are still Anejo rRum, Orange Curacao, Orange juice, Lemon juice, Bitters and Sugar Syrup.
