Those indelible ink marks – Unbranded sky blue

This is one of my favorite fountain pens. I carry this with me on a daily basis. I had bought this in April, 2011 at the Atlanta Fountain Pen Show from a gentleman from the New York area who makes pens from different materials. The sky blue color and the rich veins of indigo had caught my attention. I switched the nib out for a fine tip and today use it with turquoise blue ink…

Nice to see you’re still into fountain pens. Every time I use my fountain pen reminds me of you. You still fill the ink cartridge yourself?

Every other week, I fill in ink from the inkpot into the cartridges. And every couple of months, I change the pens I carry with me!!!

Miriam, one of my goals is to learn macro photography. I am going to take lessons from the best photographer I know – Samaresh. I thought the pens would make a good subject. (They do not move at least). This one was not done as a macro photograph. I was merely trying to play with the composition. And yes, I will be publishing a series on these pics over the next year or so…
