I have been waiting for this day…
Such a momentous day. Such an event represents an enormous effort… all the preparations, all the twists and turns, all the hurt people, the race to the finish…
But it is here …
Today I celebrate one year anniversary of my first and only marathon I ran (in Greece from Marathon to Athens) – and survived, I might point out with a smirk 🙂

And people think campaign season is long…they should run a marathon.
I’m looking forward to hearing about marathon #2!
Chris, every runner friend of mine had predicted that after my first marathon, I would soon be going for the second one. Boy, don’t they look silly now 🙂 And you have done, what 30 of them?
Just 13 but 14 is just around the corner. She has us driving to NorthGA this weekend.
You picked a great bit of history for your first. I can imagine you adding a few other majors in there such as London, NYC, and Boston.
From the way you worded it, it was obvious you were talking about your Marathon marathon. What else could it have been?
