The art of speaking Italian

An Italian with broken shoulders automatically loses his power of speech!! Those grave “Si Si Si” just does not carry as well without the wild gesticulations with their shoulders and hands… 🙂

I feel the same about Indians. They cannot speak without moving their head back and forth. I remember being very confused at first when I asked a yes/no question. LOL

Rajib, in Milan airport it struck me that if Italy could find a way to convert the typical Italian airport cell phone speaker’s hand gesticulations into energy, they would have the strongest economy in the EU

While not a honeymoon trip, our first time in Rome, same two phrases as Shilpa. Worked like a charm over a week.

On your other post, I was mentioning the old Italian Job film because it briefly shows some of the excellent landscapes of italy. You see, and you say “Sì, questo è il posto giusto.” (Google translate)
