From the bartender’s corner – Redneck Blitzkrieg
Jagermeister (explaining blitzkrieg), Southern Comfort whiskey (explaining redneck) and tonic water.

That surprisingly sounds pretty good right about now…
I would say jagermiester is fine but to relate redneck would be better with Jack Daniels rather than Southern Comfort coz back in days in America hooligans & riff raffs were called rednecks. Largely they used to drink JD which used to come in a round shaped bottle back in those days. While driving it would often roll & break if kept in the glove compartment thus came the production of square bottles in the market. Anyways I’m comfortable with Southern Comfort as well, It was just a thought u know….Cheers Clink*
We met an English lady 15 years ago on a train from Edinburgh to London who was craving for JD. Maybe she was a north European RN …
Mathew, I had a different recollection of the Jaegermeister bottles. Isn;t this the one where the founder was so finicky he would drop bottles in the kitchen of various shapes and sizes to see which one withstood the impact best? I though this was before it even came to US. I need to go back and read up the literature again…
Mathew and Ananda, what is JD?
Jack Daniels
