Just like sands on a beach there were very different shapes and sizes of the salt crystals

It so reminds me of the striations in the glaciers in Alaska that we saw in 2016

It is a fairly sharp descent to the Dead Sea. That black rope you see? Well it is a water pipe that is taking fresh water to the beach – so that you can wash off the salt after getting into the water. Like I said, just like a normal beach – excepting all the sand has been replaced by salt!

You see those white beaches meeting the water? Well, that is no sand beach. It is all salt!! Can’t wait to get down there!
