One of the things I love about my job …
… is that I sometimes get to meet my colleagues’ families. I was in Charlotte and Jessica and I were going to spend some time after all the meetings. Turned out it was a Election Day and her daughter’s (Harper) school was closed.
Which meant, I got to spend the evening with not only Jessica but also Harper. She reminded of my younger daughter at that age throughout the evening!! It was a lovely chat!

Clean shot of Stone Mountain
That was as close to being right above Stone Mountain as I have ever been. Just a couple of weeks back, I was there on the top with a bunch of folks that were in my hostel (dorm) back in 1985.
Interesting fact: Stone Mountain used to be called Rock Mountain long time back. And even before that it was called Lone Mountain (in the local Indian language)
