The city on the other side is Barreiro. The boat ride was not that enjoyable. It is a huge ferry ship and there is no sitting space out in the open. Not a great way to enjoy the views.

Reminded me of Antigua in Guatemala! The whole of this road (Rue Castilho) is lined with these trees on either side.

This is near the famous Torre De Bellem. While this is called River Tagus, in reality it is more like the estuary before it dumps itself in the Atlantic. Parts of this river becomes 10km wide!!
