Greece’s woes
Sequencing
Familiar Thursday evening situation: On a flight returning home. Have not posted a puzzle in some time. So, here is one…
What is the next number in the following sequence?
4, 6, 12, 18, 30, 42, 60, 72, 102, …
(If you know the answer send me a personal message)
Disclaimer: I remember this puzzle vividly from my college days because after two days I simply gave up π
Niki’s husband
This morning, as I left for office dragging my overnighter with me, Niki asked Sharmila “where is Daddy going?” Sharmila explained that after office I will fly to DC but will be back tomorrow. Nikita felt that was a lot of effort for just one day (I guess she thinks all flights are as onerous as her trips to India π ). Anyways, Sharmila explained that sometimes you have to work very hard at your job. Nikita thought for a second and as she walked away, explained to her sleepover friend Kylie “See, when I grow up, I am not doing any such thing. I will let the husband do all the hard work” πΒ
Let the record show that her mom side genes are dominant πΒ β atΒ Delta Skyclub ATL terminal B.

Sister calling…
Rich Irony: My sister from a small town in Eastern India called me up in the middle of my office meetings (it is near midnight for her) because she is stuck with a question while teaching her fourth grader for next day tests – Which is Rajasthan’s Blue City? Not that I am an expert on Rajasthan – and she is acutely aware of it. But unlike her, I can access the internet in a second!!!! And that is exactly how I found out the answer π (she won’t buy my claims that I knew it anyways π π )
Niki vs Siri
It was barely 5:30 am and I was enjoying my coffee watching the rain when Nikita walks down the staircase from her bedroom, my iPhone in her hand, complaining “Siri is mean”! Apparently, first thing in the morning, she asked her “Am I awesome” and Siri politely answered “I cannot answer that” π And with that, we are off to a flying start to this Sunday!!
