Sharmila was in the art gallery. The temperatures had come down. Was ideal to sit in an empty bench in the park and catch up on some reading.

Under the glass on my study table, I have 70 paper currencies, plus one coin that is not shown here. Six of those currencies no longer exist, either because the country itself no longer exists, like Yugoslavia, or because the country later switched to another currency, like the euro. The remaining 64 currencies span 107 countries, since a few of them, like the euro, the U.S. dollar, and the East Caribbean dollar, are used in multiple countries.

Switched my logo to a new design (see the attached pic)

First, any opinions?

Second, can you guess why I designed the second logo the way it is?

I had just stepped onto the balcony with my book in hand and Jay Jay in tow when I looked up and saw that. What kind of a new-fangled mail van is that? It immediately reminded me of the “people mover” shuttles at Washington Dulles Airport that ran both ways.

A second later, I realized what was happening.

Squirrels eating the seeds meant for the birds!

It reminded Niki and me of our old home so much!
