I was a bit overdressed. It did not feel as cold as thirties should feel!

27 deg F or a nice balmy day as my friends from Chicago would say…

A lot of first time runners and walkers on the trail today in spite of the cold weather. Went to the gym to do some Yoga stretching post run and sure enough… lots of new members!!

I was a bit overdressed. Turned out to be fairly warm for an end of December day in Atlanta.

Put a 28 minute 5K. Took every bit of my energy to get it done. I have no doubt I am going to pay for it dearly tomorrow. But, for today, it felt great to run like the wind in an otherwise empty Fowler Park trail.

The trail was closed for a few years. I did not see too many runners or walkers today. Admittedly it was cold with strong winds.
