It was a gorgeous fall day up in the mountains. The sun was up, the skies were relatively clear and the wine was … well, it was North Georgia wine. The views were breath taking though.

Folks who know the area will spot the larger mountain in the horizon in the middle of the picture as Mount Yonah. The sharp, sheer face is not evident since it is facing us (we were in Dahlonega).

This is one of our favorite spots – even before Kaya Winery became Kaya Winery. It used to be Blackstone Winery back then.

It was cool but the sun felt great!!

… well, really Burnt Mountain. It is like we are trying to make up for our tropical island trips (thanks to Covid) by putting in as much blue in our pictures as possible!!

At Sunset Grille on Lake Allatoona. With Dipanjan and Parijat. Found out from Caroline (Audrey) that this is the last weekend for the restaurant for this season. I was a little surprised… I did not think the temperatures are that low. But to be sure, there were nobody in their boats out either.

Anyways, it was a good couple of hours in the evening!!

Compared to most of the lakes we visit in Northern Georgia, Lake Rabun stands out due the mountains surrounding it. The low lying clouds today made it look very European-ish today.

We also played some kind of a trivia board game. Thanks to DJ’s completely lenient grading (the kind if my school teachers had offered me, I would have scored 100 in all subjects), our team even managed to win!!

We are out in the water. Still she put a towel on when the rains came in…

Was not a complete disaster!!
