Jay Jay and I are now having to deal with the fact that we do not have our own private music room in this small house. Today, I tried a different approach. Sat on the swingset downstairs and listened to music on the bluetooth Beats.
Jay Jay showed his contempt at not getting any Pringles or being able to listen to music by hiding my other shoe! (seriously, I have no idea what happened to my other shoe)
These days, Jay Jay creates a ruckus if we do not take him too. He just sits there criss cross applesauce on the chair and listens to the local bands playing. The regular patrons repeatedly comment on how he completely ignores the other dogs and focuses on the music. I think he misses our tabla evenings!!
It was one of those gorgeous Friday evenings in Atlanta. It was warm but drafty. Sat down on our Adirondacks in the patio with a glass of wine to wave at passers by and catch up on my weekly Economist reading.
Presently, Sharmila and Jay Jay joined me. And you can see the effect of the said light breeze on a warm day on them!!
Monday evening, after work, Sharmila and I took Jay Jay out for a walk in Alpharetta downtown. Jay Jay loves Alpharetta downtown. After a long walk, we strolled in to our favorite hanging out place – Chiringa. We love the staff and the regulars there. And Jay Jay is welcome to come in!! Susan even got him an ice cream!!
Took Jay Jay out to Alpharetta downtown late in the evening. Chiringa has taken the tent out. So, we could not sit inside (all the other inside places had too many people for our comfort). Grabbed a couple of glasses of wine and walked with the dog in the cold. It was 42 degrees and with wind chill nearly 36. Finally settled under one of the heaters at Chiringa. Jay Jay, though, had a whale of a time. I think I lost count of number of places he left his markers…
