Friday evening decompression
I do not know who the original poet but this is of the category Bhajans and one of the original singers of this is Meera – who dates back to the early sixteenth century.
“Saanson ki malaa pe simrun main pee ka naam
Apne man ki main janoon aur pee ke mann ki Ram”
Roughly translated…
“With every breath I breathe, I take the name of my beloved
I know my heart (what it desires), and God knows of the heart of my beloved (what she desires)”
Someone is enjoying His Master’s Voice (percussion, actually) π
Amazingly pleasing
JJ looks fat, have you been feeding him dosa?
Wait till my South Indian friends read this π
No just Pringles
This song is one of my favorite. I like the version sung by Nusrat Fateh Ali. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bbD6nc0XsLM&list=PL1BE981476A9FF8D4&index=4
For whatever reason, I had completely missed this song. There are many singers and it seems to be a very popular bhajan. (I am not 100% sure but this has to be of the category bhajans – and that is why I might have missed it since I search for Qawalis). I cannot get the tune off my head the whole day today…
Meant “cannot get the tune off my head”… (edited)
I listen to this song on repeat. π
Your dog is a true music lover! Never misses a session!
Music, my left foot. It is all about the Pringles π
Pringles for the dawg wine for the human- all stacked up nicely!
One of my all time fav bhajans! β₯οΈ
Friday evening eto seje guje keno. Your dog is enjoying. Nice
