From the bartender’s corner – La Louche

Not sure what the history of the name is. It is a gin based, slightly sharp drink due to the lime juice.

Gin, Chartreuse, Lillet Blanc and lime juice. I added a little simple syrup to soften the acidic sharpness.

Lacking clear direction I used 2oz gin, 1 oz Lillet, 1/2 oz lime, 1/2 oz chartreuse, and a splash of simple syrup (turbinado, 1:1). It nicely filled two coupe glasses and was quite lovely. The sweetness offset the gin (Beefeater) very nicely.

That is pretty darn close. 1.5 gin, 0.5 Lillet Blanc and 0.25 each of chartreuse and lime juice if you make it again
