Hmmm … I notice that when I go to pick her up after school (lots of her classmates still around then) my daughter is uncharacteristically fast in gathering her things and getting out… calling after me to follow her out of the school.

The advises just get more deadly as they grow older until it becomes “You are not my dad”.
she´s really cute!!
This is a phase they go through in middle and early high school. Then they mature and are no longer embarrassed. Seen this with Shayan and now again with Shohini and her friends.
But she doesn’t realize the parental imperitive to do just that. So young so much to learn 😉
