How I take my coffee
Nothing wakes me up more than the first sip of Keurig K-cup coffee on a Saturday morning. Especially when in my half asleep state in the near dark kitchen, I add salt instead of sugar … π
I’m with you on the k-cup…haven’t used salt yet but I have brewed it with no cup to catch the coffee…
I just woke up and made a cup of chai too! It’s 5:47am on Saturday morning! π

First home robot needs to do this for me. Needs to be connected to my alarm and start the coffee 15 minutes before alarm goes off.
Interesting fact – Some time ago, I was a barista. We would routinely add a pinch of salt to darker roasts prior to brewing to enhance the flavor and decrease any bitterness β
Awesome Jennifer. Today might be the accidental start of a new career for me!!
Rajibda, when we were in Darjeeling, during snowfall we used to drink tea with salt.
I too start my day with a Keurig K-cup Breakfast Blend! Used salt instead of sugar once, didn’t like the taste π From that day I use neither sugar nor salt. I take freshly brewed coffee as is, no contamination. I enjoy the real/black coffee π
Oops!
There was a children’s story about the lady who did the same. Do you know it?
Not at all, Lia!!
Why do u have salt next to the coffee machine?
More dangerous is to have Salt next to Sugar in a look-alike jar, Rupak Ganguly..
Kashmiri … coffee? One way to get that blood rushing to the head, Rajib π
