Real life puzzle
Here is a real life puzzle… Look at my previous post. It is truly a beautiful snap. The sky color is unbelievably azure and you can see the sun trying to break out if the grey clouds in the horizon.
Now, I do dabble in photography but my caliber is nowhere close to take such a beautiful shot. Also, it was an unsophisticated iPhone and I did not touch up the picture with any filters.
Can you tell me then how did the sky come so beautiful?
A hint – look carefully at my position on the road!
It bothered me enough last night that I had to state at the picture long enough to finally get it….
Does it have to do with the tint on the windshield? Clearly the photo was taken fron inside a car.
it seems like the windshield had a blueish tint on the top which interfered with the colors of the sky to produce the effect we see in your post
Photo was taken from inside the car, windscreen probably little greenish in colour, you were on the front seat.
When you point the camera 45 degrees to the sun, you get this color. Typically this is the rule used when using a polarizing filter to get the best blue sky effect.
Read that 90 degree not 45….
The snap is taken from inside the car ( Since it was a day of bandh, it was a prudent move ! ). There is a water mark of the windshield in lower part of the right half of the photo. As Monolina has mentioned, there could be a blueish tint band on the top part of windshield.
Indeed, Monolina, Baishali and Subbu, it is the blue tinge in my brother’s car’s windshield that gave that dramatic effect. I did not realize it then!!
Btw, there was no Bangla Bandh…
Hahaha, got you!
