I was dreading all the red lights… As long as I was in motion, there was some wind but every time I stopped, I felt like throwing the helmet and jacket down… it was getting so hot inside.

Well, I did get one respite while filling in gas. Sitting on a motorbike for 2 hours 15 minutes cam make one very sore…

It was so hot and humid that, uncharacteristically, I stopped for an ice cream instead of a coffee!!

Looked up a new coffee spot in Jasper and rode the motorbike 45 miles to reach it. Only to find that they are drive up only!! I was too hungry to stop anywhere. Came back home and had lunch with Jay Jay.

With all these nonstop vacationing, I had not had a motorbike ride for quite a few days. Fixed that problem today.

Rode the bike to meet Nikita at Summit Coffee in Roswell. Unfortunately, their espresso machine was down. So we had tea. Hot for me. Cold for her!

This is a very small town in north Georgia – with a population of a whopping 91 (2021 census). They have done a great job after Covid in converting an old train rake into a Brewery. There was live music, beer and hotdogs aplenty. I think I saw the entire town population there!!

Missed the long ride with Rakesh and Avi this morning due to scheduling conflicts. Made up a little in the evening. Long enough (a little over 100 miles) to make it past the 5,000 mile mark.

Finished some reading in my favorite coffee shop there. Saw Autumn after quite some time… Getting close to the 5K miles mark.

After about three years, John and I went to Helen, GA to grab a lunch again. We went to the same place as we had gone to in 2020. Here is the funny part…

That day, we had gone there riding identical bikes – Honda CTX 700s. Today too, we went in identical bikes – Honda Rebel 1100s.

What is crazy is that the one parking spot that was open for us today – was the exact spot we had that day!! (I realized that while checking the pictures from that trip).

And to cap it off, we again talked about politics and corona virus!!
