Had not seen Ryan or his sister Ashley in a long time. Got one half done while in Pelican Pete. He is still working there and still the great young gentleman I had always known him as.

Neither Sharmila nor I can claim to be big fans of Georgia wine. So, our expectations were fairly low. We got a glass of red wine each from either end – the most full bodied one and the lightest one. Surprisingly, we enjoyed it. Staring at the impressive Mount Yonah might have something to do with it!
Siva wrote to me that after reading a prior blog post about me completing 100K in July (after a long time), he took upon himself the challenge to walk/trek 100M (miles) in August. Which he did! And wrote me last night to let me know that.
Well, one good deed deserves another. Now, I am inspired to get better. So, my counter promise to Siva is that I will increase 10% on my previous July distance.
September goal is 110K = 69M.
