Elections and my dad.
My dad called me up from India wanting to know “which way is the wind blowing in counting”. I am like, how do I know? I am in a hotel and I will wake up tomorrow and find out the results. It is not like staying glued to the TV will affect any result. He was very understanding. He said “so, after you wake up, you will call me first thing and tell me the result, right?”. Okay, then!! — at Sheraton Charleston Airport Hotel.
More elections!
Reading the USA Today newspaper about the demographic distribution of voters, it appears that the median voter for the Republican Party was a older white male with six digit income and some or no college degree and came from a small town/rural setting. Y’all think Joe Biden might have confused himself again? 🙂
Elections
Amidst all my “red” FB friends blaming God and idiotic Americans in general for losing the election and all my “blue” friends thanking God and smart Americans in general for winning the election, two of them had the funniest comments.
The ever witty Jonathan Pinto urged us not to feel too bad for Romney since he has binders full of women to comfort him 🙂 and the indomitable Paul Gourley came in with the flash news that the replacement NFL refs have declared Romney the winner 🙂
You two get my vote!!! — with Paul Gourley and Jonathan Pinto at Atlanta Hartsfield Airport Runway.
