Run in the rain!
Have you ever heard the constant pitter patter noise of rain drops falling on the wet leaves in the forest?
Or the soft gurgling of the spontaneous rivulets of water hurrying by?
Or the wet bird tweeting as it flutters its wings and then preens them back in their position?
Or the huge splashing sound as you purposefully jump into a water puddle in an otherwise desolate trail?
Or the splish splosh noise of the wet shoes as you put one foot in front of the other?
No?
Then come out and run with me in the rain!!
That was a 4 miler in 37 minutes.
I’ve often wondered two things…1) Who is taking the pictures of you running? and 2) Your writing is deep and amazing…where may I find copies of your books? If there are none, why not?
Alpharetta greenway?
This was in Cumming – Big Creek Greenway on the Bethelview Rd trailhead side
Beautiful
My Plantar Fasciitis got so bad it ruptured. So I got my first road bike last week. Surprised to find riding in the rain was just as enjoyable as running in it. But holy cow, running is a much faster workout. Takes forever to get a long ride in.
Are you afraid of the grip of the road in the rains? The feet can feel the slip once in a while. I wonder how the tires do…
Just don’t ride on those boardwalks in the rain…they get as slick as ice when wet! I got a concussion there a couple of years ago.
Ouch!!
Not enough experience or sense to be afraid yet.
