I have a question for New Yorkers.
Actually, I have a lot but I will get started with this. This trip, I noticed signs like this all over Manhattan. “Watch for falling snow and ice”, they say.
Here is what I would like to know … How?? How exactly do you watch for falling snow and ice? By looking up? And get smashed in the face by … you know… falling snow and ice? 🙂
All they are asking you is to watch – free entertainment NY style!
That’s New York
I guess snow and ice sliding off rooftops follow the same arc so you watch for it by looking down to see where it landed before. Or look for chalk outlines of people who got hit by the first one.
From the skyscrapers….it will slide off the top – fly off the top and then smnash to the ground… Duluth Minnesota used to have those signs an I think they may be in Boston too.
November, the first thing I grabbed
It’s like the “Slippery When Wet” signs. We have been warned of any liability.
